TEACHER

Music teacher, group classes, & musical partnerships

I have a BA from Luther College in Music Education with an emphasis on K-12 vocal music. I have taught music in the public schools for 10 years and have experience in elementary, middle, and high school levels. My strengths include high school choir, elementary general music, music exploration, bucket drumming, improvisation, and incorporating technology in the classroom.

Over the past ten years, I have taught and partnered with many schools and music organizations in the area. My many roles have included: classroom music teacher, musical director, teaching artist, choir director, and performance accompanist. Some of the schools and organizations include: MacPhail Center for Music, Stages Theatre Company, Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis Public Schools, Eden Prairie Public Schools, Minnetonka Public Schools, Parnassus Preparatory School, and New City Charter School.
